Cherry Rosé Slushie

Active Time: 10 minutes   |   Total Time: 10 minutes   |   Serves 4  |  Gluten Free

Ingredients
  • For the simple syrup:
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • -
  • For the slushie:
  • 1 cup rosé wine
  • 8 pitted cherries
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 cups ice
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons simple syrup
Instructions

For the simple syrup, put the sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium-high heat and stir. Let come to a boil. Once the sugar is dissolved (after about 20 seconds) turn off the heat. Let cool.

Put the rosé, cherries, mint, 2 tablespoons of the simple syrup, and the ice into a blender. Blend until it’s smooth and pourable. If you want it a little sweeter, blend in the remaining tablespoon of simple syrup. If it’s too thick or thin, add a little more rosé or ice accordingly.
